A day at Stubbers means endless hours spent together, exploring our adventure packed site of giant adventure playgrounds, large climbing towers, discovery trails filled with surprises and den building to set your creativity free

  • Adventure Play Areas: Young Adventurers area and big size play areas with climbing, spinners and swings
  • Woodland Discovery Trail with play features and den build area
  • Young Adventurers Sand Play and  Paddle Beach 
Pay in the Park for:

  • Food Court and Coffee Shop
  • Pedalos £ 8  per pedalo for 15 minutes * All ages (fits upto 4 adults)
  • Cave Experience * £ 8.50 per head for guided tour of 120 m of  simulated pot holing age 5 plus
  • Indoor Clip n Climb *  £ 9 per head for 30 minutes age 4 plus
  • Other Activity Adventure * availability from £ 16 per head. We highly recommend booking in advance as the activities get booked out quickly on line.  Children under 14 must be accompanied on the activity by an adult.

Please note: 

*If you, or someone you are caring for, is in receipt of DLA or PIP then you qualify for a free Carer ticket which you can select when booking online, we just ask you bring a copy of the DLA or PIP letter with you on the day to show the Stubbers Team at the entrance

BOOKING

  • General Admission tickets are limited in number and access times and should be pre booked online to avoid disappointment. Pay on entrance may be possible subject to availability.
  • Visitors are asked to display their booking confirmation and valid membership cards on arrival at the welcome centre. You will not be allowed entry into the park without confirmation of your booking.
  • Members are allowed to bring guests in line with their membership entitlements. It is not essential for members to book in advance but helps us plan for the number of visitors if you do.
  • Park opens at 9am and last entry is at 4:30pm. You can arrive anytime between this slot.
  • All adventure activities are bookable online. We strongly recommend you book your adventure activity before your visit as we do get busy. These can be booked here.
  • How to postpone your booking - If you can't make your pre-booking or activity, please call 01708 224753 or email info@stubbers.co.uk at least 1 working day in advance and include your booking reference.

SAFETY

 
  • Please take care when near water in the park. It is cold and deep.
  • Be aware that  site maintenance and delivery vehicles may be moving around both on and off the road.
  • Sometimes the tracks and paths can be muddy, steep and uneven – please wear suitable footwear and take care.
  • Please ensure that children are always supervised. Especially when close to water and using our play facilities.

FACILITIES

Stubbers Adventure Centre is open  year round  9am to 6pm (last entry 4.30pm). 
  • The Adventure Play Parks are open every day 9am to 6pm.
  • The Source coffee shop is open 9am to 5pm during the summer and 10am to 4.30pm from November to February.  A General Admission ticket is required to enter the park to use the Source Coffee Shop
  • The Lookout food and drink Kiosk is open during the holidays and on weekends throughout summer. No General Admission payment is required for the Lookout which is outside the Adventure Park immediately adjacent to the Car Park and with an outstanding view across the Lake. Dogs are welcome at The Lookout.
  • The Snack Shack is inside the Adventure Park and open during busy periods for the sale of cold drinks, Sweets and ice-cream

GENERAL SITE RULES

At Stubbers Adventure Centre we aim to provide children with a safe space to play and grow  in confidence.  To help us protect and children and  set good examples in healthy lifestyle and behaviour please adher to the following conditions of entry:

Dogs 
  • To ensure that everyone can enjoy our site, including the wildlife we regret that Pets are not allowed into the Adventure Park
  • Dogs required to support our visually or hearing impaired visitors are welcome to accompany their owner throughout the Park
  • Pets including Dogs are welcome in area outside of the Adventure Park including the Car Park and The Lookout Coffee Shop (available from April to september)

Large Groups
  • Parties of 20 people need to be prearranged – Please email info@stubbers.co.uk
  • Private occupation of group shelters is not permitted other than by prearrangement

Food and Drink and Smoking
  • Alcohol or drugs must not be bought into the park. Any individual who we assess to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused entry of requested to leave the site.
  • Smoking: We operate a no-smoking policy, inclusive of e-cigarettes, in or near certain areas of the park, including dining or food outlets, eating areas, picnic areas, covered spaces or buildings, the children’s play area, and activity areas. This may extend to other areas of the park in periods of very dry weather.

Child Protection
  • Supervision; Children 13 years & under must be directly supervised by an adult at all times. Unaccompanied Children aged 14 years or above will only be permitted entry if their ticket has been purchased by an adult in advance of their visit. 
  • Bare Chests! . Please wear a top on activities and moving around the park. Shirtless visitors will not be allowed entry to the park or into food oulets or onto any activity.
  • Photography must be restricted to photos of your own party or where permission of a responsible adult has been obtained. Photographers wishing to use a telephoto lense or general site photos should enquire at the Welcome centre for a photographers pass. Photo ID will be required.
  • Lost children or any safeguard concern shoud be reported to the nearest member of staff as soon as possible.

Be Nice
  • Keep language child friendly
  • Threatening behaviour towards Stubbers employees and fellow visitors including intimidation through loud and persistant protesting will not be tolerated. Your complaint may not be heard and you may be requested to leave the park without refund
Site 
  • Activity Areas are out of bounds except when supervised by a Stubbers member of staff.
  • Permission is required for use of telescopic lenses and photography of participants in Stubbers activities.
  • BBQs & Campfires are not permitted other than as part of a Stubbers-led, supervised activity.
