We’ve got canoes-a-plenty, but if you don’t fancy getting your toes wet, why not try a kata kanu on for size? Hop into our twin-hull vessel, propel yourselves by paddle power and pick up the pace across our beautifully clear lake. Glide through the water in absolute peace or ramp up the rowing for a real rush of adrenaline!

IT TAKES TWO TO TANGO, SIX TO KANU

Select five of your finest shipmates and set sail across our stunning waters. The lake will be calm – just make sure you can say the same for your crew! If you want to pick up some serious speed you’ll need to work together to make it happen. Teamwork makes the dream work after all!

The Kayakanu experience is suitable for paddlers of all ages ( we have life jackets to fit children from @ 3 years old. We expect there to be at least one responsible adult on the Katakanu

We visited as a family group, 6 adults, four children and three generations. We were very impressed with how well thought through the experience was, and were particularly pleased that there is a limit put on the number of people who can visit at any time. This meant the park felt spacious and all the activities were available for the children, with no queueing necessary. The free activities were ample to keep children aged 5, 8, 10 and 13 engaged throughout the day. This helped make it an economical day out. The cabins made a welcome shady place for us to picnic in. Staff were helpful and cheerful, and the facilities were clean. I am sure we will return for further adventures.

Thoroughly enjoyed a day out here with the family. We didn't book any activities but made use of the playground/picnic areas and walks by the lakes. Everything was in excellent condition and the park was very clean. We got some lunch from the nice cafe on site. Entry prices were very fair. We will definitely be returning.
