This course is designed for people who want to receive training in oudoor first aid . The course covers first aid protocols for adult and children casualties.
This course provides basic life saving first aid skills and knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations, covering:
Location: Stubbers Adventure Centre. Meet at the Welcome Centre
Timings: Course starts at 9:00am finish no later than 6pm.
Age: 18+
All equipment provided.
Food: There is a coffee shop on site or you may bring a packed lunch and refreshments.

- resuscitation (CPR)
- Burns and scalds
- Choking
- Communication and casualty care
- Defibrillator prompts and how to respond (theory based)
- Defibrillator pad placement (theory based)
- Minor and severe bleeding
- Role of the first aider (including knowledge of health and safety regulations)
- Seizures
- Shock
- Unresponsive adult
