Havering and Essex businesses are being encouraged to pull on their wellies and get active with their teams this autumn to bolster staff spirit.
Stubbers Adventure Centre is challenging local employers to take their teams out of the office for a fun day tackling an assault course and laser tag quest in a bid to boost morale and productivity.
As evidence demonstrates that teams, who regularly take time away from the workplace together work harder, enjoy good relationships and communicate with each other better, team building activities are a must, particularly during the dark, dank autumnal months.
Ben Woodcock, Head of Operations, said: “This time of year can be bleak, with temperatures starting to plummet, going to work in the dark mornings and coming home in the dark evenings. Even the most dedicated employee can start to feel their morale waning, so it’s important for businesses to keep their staff’s spirits up and productivity at its optimum.
“Taking part in a team challenge over an assault course and then in the laser tag arena will bring teams together for fun, which is then carried back into the workplace. With regular team building activities, employers are sure to notice an increase in morale and happiness in the office.”
Stubbers Adventure Centre, based on Ockendon Road, is offering local businesses a winter team building special day out which includes two activities, lunch and unlimited tea and coffee for £39pp.
The centre, which last year scooped Growing Business of the Year award as part of the Havering Business Awards, plays host throughout the year to corporate groups, school groups, children and families looking for adventures on zip wires, assault courses, lakes and motors.
